… from behind, the spine bent and curved as she surrenders, in apparent delight, to Pygmalion’s kiss. The variations in the tones of her upper and lower body, suggesting she is mid-transformation from marble to flesh. I love how it only hints at her face, preserving some mystery to her appearance.
