I love the metaphor of the door closing and caulking around the edges. This is really impactful.

…e wine that I couldn’t share. I know I closed a few doors right then. Don’t we all, though? I mean, don’t we get fragile and fear-filled and forget that when we close doors we also caulk around the edges to make walls? I forget that sometimes.
